‘’Armavia’’ refused ‘’Sukhoy’’ company production planes

YEREVAN, AUGUST 6, ARMENPRESS: Armenian national air carrier "Armavia" company refused to make use of "Sukhoy" company first superjet aircraft, which was acquired in 2011 April 19 .As ‘’Armavia ‘’ press service briefed Armenprss, the reason is there raised a need for the repair within a year of aircraft operation, reportedly national air craft refused the aircraft.
Earlier ‘’Armavia’’ also affirmed they have rejected the intention to purchase ‘’ Sukhoy’’ company production second aircraft. Armenian airlines signed a contract with ‘’ Sukhoy’’ company. First superjet was handed over to ‘’Armavia’’ in 2012, April 19, the second one was scheduled to be acquired in summer: ‘’Armavia’’ again rejected it.
Russian modern superjet aircrafts are currently operated by ‘’Aeroflot’’. On recent days technical problems arose in connection with ‘’Sukhoy super jet 100’’ operated by ‘’Aeroflot’’. Besides there was a sharp decline in reputation after a air crash , demonstration flight in Indonesia. Russian Superjet -100 has disappeared from the radars screens on May 9 morning. All passengers, 45 men were killed.
