An Azerbaijani  soldier surrendered to Armenian border keepers

YEREVAN, JULY 26, ARMENPRESS: A citizen of the Azerbaijani Republic , serviceman Firuz Farazov crossing the state border of the Republic of Armenia  in the north- eastern part of  Armenian –Azerbaijani border  surrendered to Armenian peacekeepers on July 26, 16: 00 pm. 

As information anad public relations department of the Defense Ministry briefed Armenpress, the border violator was arrested, the investigation is on. 
 The news on Azerbaijani soldier captivation was released by Red Cross Committee’s  Yerevan Office. 
As Armenpress had informed earlier ,according to the data of Defense Army in the period between July 15 and July 21 from different caliber artillery armaments more than 1500 shots in direction of Armenian side have been registered.
During the last month two Armenian peaceful citizens were injured by the Azerbaijani fires, and during the 2012 seven months the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire regime about 11 thousand times.

On the second half of July 26 Azerbaijani Defense Ministry confirmed the fact that soldier Firuz Mirza Oglu Fardzev on the same day early in the morning at 6 o’clock in region of Tovruz passed Armenian-Azerbaijani border and captured itself to Armenian armed forces. Armenpress reports that about this informs contact.az news website mentioning that the fact had been confirmed by press service of Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.

Azerbaijani website mentions that 20 years old soldier Faradzev allegedly had been captures because of being lost in the contact line.

“It seems that Azerbaijani Defense Ministry had to hold geography and orientation classes in national army of Azerbaijan if soldiers often confuse their own and other directions” mocks the website mentioning that “before that there have not been Azerbaijani prisoners of war in Armenia”.
