Erdogan approves court’s decision on stifling the massacre of the own citizens

ANKARA, MARCH 13, ARMENPRESS: Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who sheds crocodile tears for residents of Gaza, Palestine, and for Syria's opposition on every occasion, has approved the court's decision on quashing the case for stifling the massacre of alevies of Svaz.

"It is a success for the nation and state," Erdogan told journalists, Armenpress reports citing CNNTurk TV Channel.

In July 2, 1993, Turkish nationalists fired Mediamax Hotel, Svaz, where 200 Turkey-based alevies (shia direction of Islam) held a meeting. 37 people were killed. Turkish writer Aziz Nesin was among the injured.

The information of the participants of the meeting related to the case, as well as their calls for help, remained unanswered by Turkish authorities. Those, who ordered and committed the planned crime, have not been revealed.

Today – March 13, rally of complaint was held in Ankara on the occasion of the court's decision.The 11th Heavy Crime Court in Ankara quashed the case bringing the limitation of the case as an excuse.
