Court examines petition to change restriction measure of former chief of Armenia’s Road Police Margar Ohanyan

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 20, ARMENPRESS: The trial of the former chief of Armenia's Road Police Margar Ohanyan continued today at Kentron and Nork Marash administrative court.

The court is currently examining the petition of the defense to change the restriction measure of Margar Ohanyan and set him free for bail. The defense explains that all the witnesses gave testimonies and there is no necessity to apply arrest as a restriction measure for Ohanyan.

The former chief of Armenia's Road Police is accused of large amount of embezzlement.
