ANKARA, DECEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS:
Turkish President Abdullah Gül announced during a news conference held in Ankara on the occasion of adoption of the Bill Criminalizing the Armenian Genocide that France cannot remain OSCE MG Co-Chair on Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement issue.
The Turkish President said: "Relations of Turkey and France have a centuries-long history. The French President hits them with his behavior. France appears to be one of the OSCE MG Co-Chair Countries on the line of stabilization of the situation in Caucasus. France's attitude speaks about the loss of its objectivity. Our response is legal and it will be continued," Gül said, Armenpress reports, citing "HaberTurk".
Turkish President also expressed hope that the French intelligentsia and representatives of business circles "will manifest prudence and will stop that process which contradicts their merits".
