Russia, Turkey foreign ministers discuss the situation in the Middle East

YEREVAN, MARCH 1, ARMENPRESS.On March 1, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who is currently on a working visit to Antalya, Türkiye, at the invitation of Foreign Minister of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan, is taking part in a special session of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. Lavrov also held a number of bilateral meetings, the Russian foreign ministry said in a statement.

"During the meeting with Foreign Minister of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan, the discussion focused on key aspects of the international agenda, including the situation in the Middle East, North Africa and the Black Sea region.

The ministers coordinated their positions on current issues related to political dialogue and trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Türkiye,'' reads the statement.
