Eduard Topchyan to give master classes in Dortmund

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 1, ARMENPRESS. Eduard Topchyan, the principal conductor and artistic director of the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra, is to conduct master classes and perform a concert in Dortmund, Armenpress reports, citing a spokesperson for the orchestra.

Speaking to the state news agency, Lusine Mnatsakanyan said that the concert program includes pieces from Brahm’s Symphonies 1 and 2, and Violin Concerto 2, Berlioz's Fantastic Symphony, and excerpts from Tchaykovsky’s Swan Lake and Strauss’ Don Juan.

The events will take place in the concert hall Orchesterzentrum on February 2.
