YEREVAN, JULY 6, ARMENPRESS. The dwellers of Azerbaijan’s Gedabek Province, have asked the former MP, economist Nazim Mamedov for help. They complain that the soldiers serving on the border with Armenia limit the agricultural activities of the village under the pretext that the territory is mined. They stressed that the military aims to give the lands belonging to the rural community to sheep owners who have arrived from other provinces in exchange for money.

As informs “Armenpress”, Nazim Mamedov announced during an interview with moderator.az that he has promised the peasants to reach the problem to appropriate bodies and to demand to punish the guilty.

“These people have nothing else to do. If they are deprived of their lands, they will not be able to live and will abandon the bordering areas or the country”, he said.
