Nepal earthquake’s death toll reaches 7,759

YEREVAN, MAY 7, ARMENPRESS: The death toll in the April 25 devastating earthquake that rocked various parts of the country has so far reached 7,759, Armenpress reports, citing the Rising Nepal.
Likewise, the number of injured in the Saturday quake and subsequent aftershocks is 16,432, according to the data provided by Home Minister.
Sindhupalchowk has so far seen the highest number of deaths with 2,291 while deaths in Kathmandu have reached 1,210 in the quake.
The quake has completely damaged 10,790 government offices and buildings while 14,997 houses and buildings have suffered partial damages.
The Ministry informed that some 288,798 houses of the public have been completely damaged while 254,112 houses have suffered partial damage.
