Armenia introduces online notary services system
YEREVAN, JANUARY 20, ARMENPRESS: The electronic system of the notary services applied in Armenia is intended to be introduced in the end of 2014. The electronic system will raise the level of the protection of the citizens’ rights and the satisfaction from the service quality, as well as improve the internal management of the notary centers and exclude the cases of forging documents and document-related delays. The Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Aram Orbelyan told Armenpress that in case of the system introduction, it will become possible to create an environment for the automation of procedures, where all the stages of the required notary actions will be carried out electronically.
“The full introduction of the electronic notary system will enable the notary to get a variety of documents or information in person, via the exchange of the online electronic documents, keeping the applicant aside from the obligation to get additional documents from other bodies”, - said Orbelyan.
