YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS/BeLTA. Armenia proposes Belarus to participate in the creation works of a platform on artificial intelligence, BeLTA reports.

The issue has been discussed during the meeting of President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian and Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Rumas.

The Armenian President proposed to discuss the possible joint IT projects, including the creation of the platform on artificial intelligence. “We need concrete proposals on what we can do. Armenia still needs to do a lot to reach Belarus in the IT sector”, the President said.

In turn the Belarusian PM said they will discuss this issue with pleasure. “Artificial intelligence is developing quite strongly in Belarus”, he said, adding that Armenia and Belarus can move on very quickly in the IT field in case of combining efforts. “You have your own competitive achievements, and we have ours. We need to understand how we can combine them to get a synergetic result”, he said.
