YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian and his Greek counterpart Procopios Pavlopolos discussed the opportunities to deepen the economic cooperation during a meeting in Yerevan.

“It is expected to deepen the cooperation also in the economic sector. We discussed with the Greek President that Armenia can become a gateway for Greece to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Greece can enter the market worth 200 million via Armenia”, President Sarkissian said during a joint press conference with Greek counterpart following their meeting.

President of Greece Procopios Pavlopolos together with spouse Vlassia Pavlopoulou arrived in Armenia on an official visit on November 5 at the invitation of President Sarkissian.
