YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS. This year the New Year should get an exceptional breath and atmosphere in Armenia and Yerevan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a meeting with the Armenian community in Los Angeles.

“I want to make an offer to all people attending this meeting. Unfortunately, over the years it has become a tradition that many Armenians celebrate the New Year and Christmas abroad. Today we think in the government and the Yerevan city hall that this year the New Year should receive an exceptional breath and environment in Armenia and Yerevan. Yerevan is usually empty during the New Year, and we want to do so that in this New Year the streets and squares of Yerevan will be full of people. Usually the restaurants in downtown Yerevan are closed during the New Year holidays, no events are taking place. But now we are implementing a huge project in order to invite you all. This year the Diaspora is celebrating the New Year and Christmas in the capital city of Yerevan”, Pashinyan said.
