Bolton’s sacking won’t impact Armenian-American ties, says foreign ministry

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS. Armenia has active dialogue with the United States in different levels and is ready to continue steps in this direction, foreign ministry spokesperson Anna Naghdalyan said at a news conference when asked by ARMENPRESS whether or not US National Security Advisor John Bolton’s firing could impact the Armenia-USA relations.

Bolton was fired by US President Donald Trump on September 10, 2019.

“Armenia’s relationship with the United States isn’t associated with individual persons and bears a more institutional nature,” she said.

US National Security Advisor John Bolton visited Armenia in October 2018.
