Ministry develops legislative initiatives to promote prevention of non-communicable diseases
14:41, 3 September 2019YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 3, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s healthcare ministry has developed a number of legislative initiatives aimed at preventing non-communicable diseases and promoting healthy lifestyle, Healthcare Minister Arsen Torosyan said during today’s press conference.
““The bill on reducing and preventing the damage caused to health by the use of tobacco products and their substitutes”, as well as the legislative initiatives aimed at limiting the advertisement of alcohol, promoting healthy nutrition have been developed”, the minister said.
Minister Torosyan also informed that the development of the concept on introducing comprehensive medical insurance has already started.
