3 new cases of anthrax in Armenian village
10:35, 22 August 2019YEREVAN, AUGUST 22, ARMENPRESS. Another three people in a small village in Gegharkunik Province have been tested positive for anthrax, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 8, the healthcare ministry said in a news release.
The patients are receiving treatment and are recovering.
Preventive actions are being taken in the area.
On August 20, the Ministry of Healthcare reported that five people in Geghhovit village have contracted skin anthrax.
