YEREVAN, MARCH 11, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Ambassador to the United States Varuzhan Nersesyan met with chairman of the House Democracy Partnership bipartisan commission, Congressman David Price, the Armenian foreign ministry told Armenpress.

The officials discussed issues relating to the process of establishing cooperation between the commission and the Parliament of Armenia.

Ambassador Nersesyan introduced the Congressman on the Armenian government’s ongoing actions aimed at strengthening democracy, as well as the positive reactions of international observers and organizations on the parliamentary elections.

Varuzhan Nersesyan and David Price also touched upon a number of issues of the Armenian-American relations agenda, in this context attaching importance to the US Congress role on implementing them.
