YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 18, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s minister of economic development and investments Tigran Khachatryan received the delegation of the European Investment Bank (EIB) led by head of the Regional Representation for the South Caucasus Maciej Czura, the ministry told Armenpress.

At the meeting minister Khachatryan touched upon the economic component of the government’s Action Plan, stating that the main emphasis from the economic development perspective is inclusiveness. The minister also introduced issues relating to free competitive conditions, regulations.

The EIB official presented the Bank’s activity to the minister, stating that the Bank is cooperating with Armenia for already 11 years.

The sides also discussed the EIB-funded projects in Armenia, in particular, in the fields of agriculture, road construction, energy saving, irrigation and etc.

They agreed to exchange necessary information about the future cooperation.
