Governor of Shirak resigns, Cabinet expected to make new appointment
11:20, 8 June 2017YEREVAN, JUNE 8, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian government dismissed Hovsep Simonyan as governor of Shirak province upon his own resignation request during the Cabinet meeting.
The agenda of today’s session includes appointing Arthur Khachatryan as the new governor of Shirak.
Khachatryan serves as deputy minister of territorial administration and development.
