No drastic changes in tactical situation in Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact during past week

YEREVAN, MAY 27, ARMENPRESS. No drastic changes in the tactical situation in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact have occurred from May 21-27, the Artsakh Defense Army told ARMENPRESS.

During the week, Azerbaijani forced breached the ceasefire regime more than 550 times with different caliber firearms. Azerbaijan also opened 60mm and 82mm mortar fire, anti-tank grenade launcher and automatic grenade launcher fire in various sections of the line of contact.

As result of the Azerbaijani ceasefire violations, Armen Harutyunyan, a 21 year old soldier of the Artsakhi military, was killed on May 26 in a military base in the northern direction.

The Artsakhi troops took countermeasures to suppress the Azerbaijani aggression.
