Armenian Minister of Finance receives Tavitian Fund’s delegation

YEREVAN, MAY 3, ARMENPRESS.  Minister of Finance of Armenia Vardan Aramyan received the delegation of Tavitian Foundation on May 3, headed by Aso Tavitian, President of the Foundation, and Adm. James Stavridis, Dean of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Armenia, Vardan Aramyan highlighted the charity programs in the sphere of education and emphasized the decisive role of cadres in reforms globally.  

The Finance Minister of Armenia has himself had the opportunity to study at the Fletcher School.

The Minister presented the reform agenda of the Armenian Government to the guests and the visions of the Government on the development of the country.

Referring to the challenges facing Armenia, Minister Vardan Aramyan stated that the best means to withstand them is the establishment of broad and strategic thinking among the young cadres, which is the key to competitiveness in the globalized world.

The Minister also noted that it’s necessary to link the cadres studying in educational institutions of different countries, expressing readiness to give foreign students in Armenia an opportunity to take practical classes at the Ministry of Finance of Armenia. At the same time Vardan Aramyan highlighted the continuity of educational programs organized by the Tavitian Fund.
