Fire erupts in Yerevan school
15:16, 24 March 2017YEREVAN, MARCH 24, ARMENPRESS. A fire erupted in a school in Yerevan’s 100 Bashinjaghyan Street.
The ministry of emergency situations said it was notified at 09:53, March 24.
Multiple first responders and firefighters were dispatched to the scene. Upon arriving, the emergency personnel saw that the fire was extinguished by the citizens and the students, staff of the school have been evacuated. 330 people were inside the building at the time.
The fire had erupted in the 2nd floor of a classroom.
