YEREVAN, JANUARY 25, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan commented on the participation of the Armenian Diaspora in the country’s life.

In an interview to the multinational MIR 24 TV, asked what participation does the Armenian Diaspora have in Armenia’s life, the PM stressed the majority of Armenian people are law-abiding and patriotic people.

“At the same time, they display huge responsibility and interest towards the developments in their historic Fatherland. We have to understand that the Armenian Diaspora and the citizens of Armenia are a whole. That’s one nation, regardless where they currently reside”, Karapetyan said.

The PM emphasized that human capital is the most important thing for Armenia. “We really believe that it’s the most powerful capital. And in this context the potential of our Diaspora is our “trump card”. The Armenian Diaspora can participate in everything”, the PM said.

He added when numerous Syrian-Armenians relocated to Armenia due to the Syrian War, the business environment and the service sector underwent significant changes.

“They brought their own culture of management and communication, their intellect and ideas”, Karapetyan said.
