YEREVAN, JANAURY 25, ARMENPRESS. The Social Democrat Hunchakian Party (SDHP) is willing to join the alliance forming around Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) founder Gagik Tsarukyan, SDHP spokesman Arthur Ghahramanyan told ARMENPRESS.

“Chairman of the SDHP Narek Galstyan recently met with Gagik Tsarukyanm, and yes, we believe the consolidation forming around Mr. Tsarukyan is the only force capable of bringing real changes in the country. The Social Democrat Hunchakian Party is ready to join that alliance”, Arthur Ghahramanyan said.

Business tycoon and founder of PAP Gagik Tsarukyan announced his return to politics on January 17. He announced his participation in the upcoming parliamentary elections by way of forming a wide alliance.

In March 2015, Tsarukyan announced he was leaving politics and closing the chapter of his political activities. However, later he didn’t rule out the possibility of returning to politics.

The Parliamentary elections of Armenia will he held on April 2, 2017. The campaigning period will begin March 5.
