No Armenians among Tehran building collapse victims – FM spox
16:57, 19 January 2017YEREVAN, JANUARY 19, ARMENPRESS. There are no Armenians among the victims of the Tehran building collapse, Tigran Balayan, spokesman of the ministry of foreign affairs of Armenia tweeted.
“According to initial information, there are no Armenians among the victims of the Tehran building fire”, he said.
At least 30 firefighters died in the blaze in Tehran’s 17 storey “Plasko” trade complex, which was built 50 years ago. The fire erupted in the 9th floor and quickly engulfed the entire upper section, which resulted in the collapse of the building.
