YEREVAN, JANUARY 18, ARMENPRESS. Human Rights Defender of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic has a key role on raising issues of the gross human rights violations committed by the Azerbaijani forces against the people of NKR during the April four-day war, Armenia’s Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan told reporters on January 18, reports “Armenpress”.

“Karabakh’s Human Rights Defender must be involved in all processes. Human rights have no boundaries. This is my principled stance. We have nothing to do with politics. The human rights defenders structures of the conflict and post-conflict zones must be actively involved”, Arman Tatoyan said.

He said it is necessary to do everything in order the civilized world to see that the NKR Ombudsman’s Office is working effectively and in accordance with the Paris principles.

“I have made, make and will make all efforts to contribute to raising those issues”, Tatoyan said.
