Annual emissions in Yerevan to be cut by 20.6%
14:55, 13 January 2017YEREVAN, JANUARY 13, ARMENPRESS. The European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC), which has confirmed the approval of a Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SEAP) for Yerevan, has sent an official report to the municipality of Yerevan, enpi-info.eu reports.
The report contains a number of recommendations related to the housing and transport sectors, which aim at improving the Action Plan. The implementation of activities envisaged in the SEAP will cut annual emissions 20.6% by 2020, while the energy consumption in all municipal infrastructures and in the transport sector will be reduced by 16% in total.
