YEREVAN, JANUARY 11, ARMENPRESS. Deputy Speaker of Armenia’s Parliament Eduard Sharmazanov on January 11 had a meeting with Primate of the Tehran Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Sepuh Sargsyan, press service of the Parliament told “Armenpress”.

At the meeting the sides attached importance to the exclusive role of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the preservation of Armenian identity, spiritual, moral and national values.

“The Armenian Apostolic Church plays an exclusive role in the lives of Armenian people and especially Armenians of Iran. Today, in the world full of challenges, we must adhere to our spiritual and national values”, Sharmazanov said.

The sides also attached importance to strengthening of Armenia-Diaspora-NKR trinity.
