Armenian weightlifters compete in European championship in Israel
14:26, 5 December 2016YEREVAN, DECEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS. The U 20 and U 23 European Weightlifting Championship kicked off in Israel’s Eilat city.
Overall 13 athletes will represent Armenia in both the U20 and U23 championships.
Davit Gasparyan, Davit Hovhannisyan, Hakob Mkrtchyan, Samvel Gasparyan, Simon Martirosyan, Sona Poghosyan and Arpine Dalalyan will compete in the U20 championship.
Smbat Margaryan, Gevorg Baghdasaryan, Razmik Osetyan, Karush Ghukasyan, Mkrtich Mkrtchyan and Izabela Yaylyan will compete in the U23 championship.
The championship is held from December 2-10.
