YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 15, ARMENPRESS. Georgia-NATO regular military exercises threaten the regional peace and stability, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement, reports TASS.
“We have put an attention on the regular military exercises of Georgia and NATO, to which more than 250 servicemen from 13 countries are taking part” the statement says.
“Russia considers such activeness a serious threat to the regional stability and peace”, the statement reads.
“NATO doesn’t cover up that the current military partnership with Tbilisi is considered as part of its containment policy towards Russia”, the statement said adding that the role taken by Georgia hinders the normalization of the Russian-Georgia relations.
