YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 10, ARMENPRESS. Leader of the “Unity” party, former minister of foreign affairs of Armenia Vartan Oskanian announced he himself will head the electoral list in case the party takes part in the elections separately.

“If it so happens that “Unity” party takes part separately in the elections, I would like to announce that I will head the list. Of course there is the decision of our party’s political board, it will be presented at the congress and a final decision will be made. But if we go into the elections with an alliance, I’d like to announce that personally myself and each member of the party are willing to put aside personal ambitions and move forward according to the situation”, Oskanian told reporters.

Speaking on the possibility of cooperating with other parties, particularly Prosperous Armenia party, Oskanian refused to give names, saying: “I will not name any political party at this moment, however I will say the following – we do not rule out anything at the moment, we are ready to discuss with everyone and find common grounds”.
