EU and EEU must discuss common economic partnership – Minister Valovaya
YEREVAN, OCTOBER 20, ARMENPRESS. Tatyana Valovaya – Minister of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission – says the Eurasian Economic Union and the European Union must restart talks over the formation of a unified economic partnership, without waiting for the improvement of political relations.
“Now we say the so called regionalization of the world, and I think this path leads to global economy. Regional economic entities must be formed and efficient ties must be established between the entities: that’s when we will see a real global economy”, the minister said in her speech at the 5th Eurasian Forum in Verona.
As an example, the minister mentioned the work of the USA aimed at creating Transpacific and Transatlantic partnerships.
