YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS. The annual bilateral negotiations on the military cooperation between Armnenia and Germany took place on September 28 at the Defense Ministry of Armenia, attended by Head of Department of International Cooperation of the German Federal Ministry of Defense, Colonel Christian Schmidt. The results and achievements of the cooperation in 2016 were summarized and the military cooperation plan 2017 was elaborated at the meeting.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, First Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan received the German delegation to sum up the negotiations. The sides highly appreciated the results of the talks, the level of Armenian-German military cooperation, the joint participation in the mission to ensure stability in Afghanistan, and stated their mutual readiness to further develop the cooperation.
