2015” Exercises

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS. All state authorities and agencies are ready to make rapid and level-headed decisions in any situation planned by the scenario. Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Movses Hakobyan stated the aforementioned. “Armenpress” reports that Hakobyan emphasized that in the framework of “Shant 2015” Military Command and Staff Exercises the country is brought to high level combat readiness.

“The aim of the exercises is to reveal the state’s potential during possible wars. Exercises of such large scale including all state agencies have been held in the Republic for the first time. It is early to make any evaluations, the results will be summarized later.”, said Movses Hakobyan.

He also emphasized that the Armed forces of Armenia have quite seriously prepared for the exercises and have a 65-day reserves including all kinds of material supplies in the framework of “Shant 2015” Military Command and Staff Exercises.

On September 3 “Shant 2015” Military Command and Staff Exercises started in Armenia.

The nationwide event “Shant 2015” Exercises are aimed at raising the level of state’s immediate preparation for defense, military and state bodies mobilization preparedness in repulsing the act of aggression, rechecking the ability of bringing to high degree of readiness and raising the level of harmony in cooperation and actions.

Taking into account the military and political situation surrounding Armenia, the scenario of the Exercises includes а fictious rival and the situation is maximally adapted to reality.
