“Sevan” folk dance ensemble returns home from Georgia as laureate
16:26, 8 August 2015GAVAR, AUGUST 8, ARMENPRESS."Sevan" folk dance ensemble of Sevan town participated in the international dance contest-festival held in Georgia at the end of July. The ensemble returned home with the title of laureate.
Ishkhan Khachatryan, the director of “Sevan” folk dance ensemble, informed Armenpress that “Sevan” ensemble, which had won the 1st place in the dance contest in Gavar organized with the initiative of “Hay-Art” Armenian-Canadian producing center, showed its performance skills in the closing festival of the Georgian Republic. “Sevan” ensemble won the 1st place in the Georgian dance contest. IshkhanKhachatryan added that the audience was enthusiastic about the ensemble’s performance and applauded endlessly.
