Russian and Armenian officials discuss energy tariff increase

YEREVAN, JUNE 26, ARMENPRESS: The Russian officials, who arrived in Armenia to take part in the 16th session of the Armenian-Russian intergovernmental commission, discussed also the issue of the energy tariff increase with the Armenian authorities. It became known from the words of the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Maxim Sokolov, who only said during the briefing with the journalists after the opening ceremony of the Russian trade representative office in Armenia that the discussion took place though he did not provide any details.  
“I was not ready to answer these questions”, - said Sokolov, Armenpress reports. The Russian minister asked to ask questions related only to the new trade representative office and stay on topic. However, taking into consideration the journalists’ inquiries, Maxim Sokolov stated: “Certainly, we discussed it”. Sokolov said that he had said everything what was needed at the press conference after the session.
