YEREVAN, JUNE 25, ARMENPRESS. Hranush Hakobyan - Minister of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia – took part in the events dedicated to the centennial of the Armenian Genocide in Marseille. The events are organized by the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia and by the union “Marseille – Provence – Armenia-2015” in the frames of the project “Year of Armenia.”

As Armenpress was informed by the Department of Media and Public Relations of the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia, the Minister took part in the exhibition of Sargis Grigoryan’s paintings on June 19 where she stressed in her speech that the struggle for the recognition of the Armenian Genocide should be continued. The Minister later attended the “Komitas Quartet’s” concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The cultural events continued on June 20 and 21. During her stay in Marseille the Minister also took part in the ceremony of placing flowers at the monument dedicated to the memory of victims of the Armenian Genocide. French MP-s, Deputy Mayor of Marseille Valérie Boyer, heads of Armenian communal organizations also took part in the event.
