YEREVAN, 19 MAY, ARMENPRESS. On May 18, the Faculty of Theology at the University of Cataluña hosted a conference dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide. The conference was held with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Spain and was moderated by Archbishop of Barcelona, Cardinal Luis Martinez Sistak. As the Department of Public Relations of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Spain Avet Adonts, General Vicar of the Patriarchal Delegate to Spain and Portugal, Father, Supreme Archimandrite Sasun Zmrukhtyan, Dean of the Faculty of Theology, Dr. Armand Puitch gave their welcome speeches, which were followed by a speech by keynote speaker, Dr. Bernard Culi and speeches by His Grace, Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan and Dr. Sebastia Janeras.

The conference ended with musical performances by Hasmik Isahakyan, Shushanik Hovhannisyan and Narine Kulikyan.
