This is what Speaker of the National Assembly Galust Sahakyan said during a press conference at the National Assembly.“Of course, we’re all concerned about the rise in the electricity tariff. That’s why it’s not by chance that we had a large-scale discussion on the issue at the National Assembly on May 18. We discussed and decided to hold long hearings with representatives of organizations having submitted the application to raise the tariff. Levon Zurabyan has launched a petition to discuss the issue during a session at the National Assembly, but the problem is that there aren’t enough materials at the moment. The application consists of 4,000 pages. The deputies and the experts need to examine the issue in detail so that there are enough materials to start discussions,” Sahakyan underscored, as “Armenpress” reports.
