YEREVAN, 23 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. From now on, those who were martyred for faith and the homeland during the Armenian Genocide joined the 700 saints of the Armenian Apostolic Church after the Canonization, which was in the center of attention of all Christians around the world. The end of the historic event was marked by the ringing of 100 bells of Armenian Apostolic Churches and sister churches in Armenia and different corners of the globe. According to “Armenpress”, a commemoration ceremony will be served at Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial and all Armenian Apostolic Churches on April 24th. A prayer was said under the leadership of His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos.

The icon consecrated as a component of the Canonization will be presented to the faithful at the Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial on April 24th. Until then, it is being transferred to the Mother Temple by the patriarchal wish.
