YEREVAN, 20 FEBRUARY, ARMENPRESS. Leader of Heritage Party Raffi Hovannisian is of the opinion that the Non-Governmental Trio no longer exists, but expresses willingness to start working with the Trio again in another format. During a meeting with citizens and journalists at Freedom Square, Raffi Hovannisian regretted to declare that the Trio no longer exists. “But Heritage Party hasn’t left the Trio. We regret that our friends have decided to leave the Trio. We are in any format that represents the people,”Hovannisian mentioned, as “Armenpress” reports.

 Hovannisian also declared that the doors of Heritage Party are open to everyone. “Our doors are open for everyone. There should have been 100,000 people at this square. There is no Trio,” Hovannisian declared.

 Raffi Hovannisian informed that he would have liked to see his colleagues, including Gagik Tsarukyan, Levon Ter-Petrosyan and, why not, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun, Jirair Sefilyan and Nikol Pashinyan. “If we were all here, there would have been a new Armenia. However, somebody didn’t want that. I assure you that Heritage Party is a political party that serves the interests of the Armenian people. One day we might declare that we are no longer members of a political party and are average citizens like you, but we’ll always continue to serve you,” Hovannisian underscored.
