YEREVAN, AUGUST 11, ARMENPRESS. The International Committee of the Red Cross continues to negotiate with Azerbaijan on the transfer of the body of the Armenian captive Karen Petrosyan to the Armenian side. Negotiations are underway, but so far the issue has not fixed a major shift. In a conversation with "Armenpress" the Head of communication programs of the ICRC Yerevan office Zara Amatuni said they still cannot make any comments. "In this matter there is no tangible progress, but the dialogue on the transfer of the body goes on," she said.

Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported that on August 7 the resident of Chinari village of Tavush region Karen Petrosyan , captured in the village Aghbulagh  of Tovruz region, on August 8 in the morning "died suddenly of unknown cause." According to preliminary data, the cause of Petrosyan’s death was "cardio-pulmonary severe insufficiency, severe miokardial deficiency." At present, the experts of Ganja regional department of forensic expertise and pathological Center of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, as if are trying to find out the real cause of the death of the Armenian captive.
