The Armenian air carrier «AIR Armenia» company does not carry out flights over the territory of Ukraine and the international air carriers should decide their flight routes for themselves, in an interview with “Armenpress” said the Deputy Chief of the General Department of Civil Aviation (GDCA) Arsen Poghosyan answering the question of how the flights from Armenia to Ukraine will be regulated if many international carriers have cancelled flights through the territory of Ukraine.

The head of the Air Transportation Regulation Department of the GDCA Hrant Mirzoyan said that the flights from Armenia to Ukraine are carried out only by the company "Ukraine International Airlines", which today carried out a normal flight from Armenia. "Ukrainian Airlines today carried out a normal flight from Armenia. According to the schedule, the flight was at 06:50 am, and the plane made ​​a normal landing in Kiev ", - said Mirzoyan.

On July 17 Boeing-777 Malaysia Airlines, flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, crashed near the village of Grabovo in the Donetsk region of Ukraine, killing all 298 people aboard. After the incident, it was announced that Ukraine may close air corridors for civil aviation on the territory of hostilities.
