Information that the road connecting Artsakh to Armenia will be opened from April 1
is false. Artsakh Ministry

YEREVAN, APRIL 1, ARMENPRESS. The rumor spreading on social networks that the road connecting Artsakh to Armenia will be opened from today, April 1, does not correspond to reality, ARMENPRESS reports, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Artsakh informs.

Since December 12, 2022, Azerbaijan keeps the only road of life connecting Artsakh with the outside world near the city of Shushi closed.

Artsakh has been under siege for 111 days, overcoming many difficulties and facing humanitarian problems caused by the closure of the road.

At the moment, it is only possible to carry out humanitarian supplies to Artsakh through the Stepanakert-Berdadzor-Kornidzor-Goris road by Russian peacekeepers and the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Traffic to and from Armenia is unpredictably dangerous as long as Azerbaijani pseudo-environmentalists and military are in the Shushi area.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges not to give in to false information and to follow only official news.
