YEREVAN, JANUARY 29, ARMENPRESS. The official welcoming ceremony of President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi was held at the Presidential Palace in Yerevan, Armenia.

The military orchestra of the Armenian Armed Forces played the national anthems of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Armenia.

Then, President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan and President of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi inspected the guard of honor.

President Vahagn Khachaturyan and President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi are scheduled to hold a one-on-one meeting, followed by an enlarged-format meeting between delegations.

The presidents will then make press statements.

As part of the two-day official visit to Armenia, the President of Egypt will also meet with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
