YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. Defense Minister of Armenia Suren Papikyan had a brief talk with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu in Yerevan on the sidelines of the CSTO session.

“On November 23 the session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) was held in Yerevan attended by the Secretaries of the Security Councils, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defense of the CSTO member states”, the Armenian Defense Minister said in a statement on social media.

“Immediately after the meeting I had a brief talk with the Russian Minister of Defense. I and Sergei Shoigu exchanged views on a number of issues of bilateral interest and relating to the defense cooperation”, Papikyan added.
