Azerbaijan lost 300 soldiers and terrorists in one day – military

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 6, ARMENPRESS. During the clashes on Artsakh-Azerbaijan contact line, the Azerbaijani side suffered 300 manpower losses, including soldiers and terrorists, ARMENPRESS reports representative of the MoD Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan said on October 6.

‘’According to the morning information, the adversary has suffered 300 manpower losses, including soldiers and terrorists. 11 armored vehicles, 2 helicopters and 2 UAVs have also been destroyed’’, he said.

Hovhannisyan said that today’s losses of the Azerbaijani side will be published tomorrow.

Azerbaijan, directly backed by Turkey, unleashed war against Artsakh on September 27. Turkey, in addition to various types of assistance to Azerbaijan, including using its own air force against Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia, deployed thousands of mercenaries and terrorists in Azerbaijan to fight against Artsakh.

The Armenian side has reported 240 military casualties and 21 civilians. Azerbaijani army has suffered over 3500 manpower losses and hundreds of armored vehicles and UAVs, dozens of warplanes and helicopters, as well as a number of Smerch and TOS-1A systems. Artsakh’s Defense army has neutralized the military airport of Ganja, from where Turkish and Azerbaijani warplanes kept military and civilians settlements of Armenia and Artsakh under bombardment.
