YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. The military operations still continue along the entire length of the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact, quite heavy clashes are taking place, Official representatives of the Joint Information Center Artsrun Hovhannisyan said during a press conference.

“The Azerbaijani side, by using air means launched a massive attack in different sections through the land forces. The Commander of the Defense Army and the President of Artsakh have already issued statements at concrete directions. We have also released videos about the ongoing clashes. The adversary has been pushed back in many places, suffering huge losses. The Azerbaijani side conducted missile and aviation-artillery attacks on objects of different deployment of the Defense Army military units. There are some minor damages, later we will provide concrete numbers”, he said.

On September 27 early morning the Azerbaijani military has launched a massive cross-border artillery attack on Artsakh, including on civilian settlements. Peaceful settlements are also under bombardment, including the capital city of Stepanakert.

The Azerbaijani side suffered losses in its military equipment.

Dozens of civilians in Artsakh were wounded as a result of the Azerbaijani attack. A woman and a child were killed in the Azerbaijani attack.

Armenia declared a martial law and a general mobilization.
