YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. The divisions of the Artsakh Defense Army are successfully repelling the attacks launched by the Azerbaijani armed forces against Artsakh. The adversary has suffered losses, Armenian defense minister’s spokesperson Shushan Stepanyan said.

“The attacks launched by the Azerbaijani armed forces along the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact are successfully repelled by the Defense Army forces. The adversary has losses”, the spokesperson said.

On September 27 early morning the Azerbaijani military has launched a massive cross-border artillery attack on Artsakh, including on civilian settlements. Peaceful settlements are also under bombardment, including the capital city of Stepanakert.

The Azerbaijani side suffered losses in its military equipment, including 2 helicopters, 14 UAVs.

Dozens of civilians in Artsakh were wounded as a result of the Azerbaijani attack. A woman and a child were killed in Marturni region of Artsakh as a result of the Azerbaijani attack.
