CSTO heads of state to discuss security issues in Bishkek on November 28

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS. The heads of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will meet in Bishkek on November 28 to discuss international and regional security issues, the CSTO said in a statement.

The session of the CSTO Collective Security Council will be held in Bishkek on November 28 chaired by the leader of Kyrgyzstan.

The session will be attended by Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyzstan’s President Sooronbay Jeenbekov, President of Russia Vladimir Putin and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

“The members of the Collective Security Council will discuss several issues, in particular the international and regional security affairs and the situation of the CSTO responsibility zone at a narrow-format meeting. The plenary session of the Council will be held with the participation of the CSTO foreign ministers, ministers of defense and secretaries of Security Council”, the statement said.
